Dance Instructor:

Ten years teaching experience at the college level. She has taught at a number of Southern California Colleges including: Scripps College, Claremont and Cal Poly University, Pomona. Long Beach City College, Cypress College, Scripps College, Jimmie DeFore Dance Center. (1986-1996 California) Lectured on the history, appreciation and theory of dance. Instructed dance classes in ballet, jazz, modern, ballroom and country western line dance.Organized two dance events for Leisure World, Mission Viejo, CA.DJ for Country Western Dance night.

Dance Students As a teacher in the Southern California area she has taught a variety of dance courses including: ballet technique, (beginning-professional,) pas de deux, pointe' variations, classical repertory, jazz, modern, aerobics, and dance history. "She really makes me feel the dance." said one advance student. "It comes alive even though we are just performing in the studio." (Orange County Register, Sunday, January. 10, 1982)

Jimmie Defore Dance Center

Jimmie Defore Dance Center, Newport Beach, Californian. Director of Ballet from 1984-1986. Taught Ballet, Jazz and Modern. Developed a ballet program for children and adults. In 1982, introduced Pointe', Pas de Deux, and Variations classes into the curriculum. In 1983, directed and adapted five major classical pas de deux for an in-studio performance. In 1984, began a classical Ballet Repertory Class.(1984-1986)
